Ok so as the title states, many years ago some bright spark of a manufacturer came up with a plan to run both AMD/NV cards together with it's own custom chipset but the performance was terrible so it fell on it's arse. I can't remember the name of it but it let you use any card of pretty much any spec with any other card at the same time and I'm not talking about using both amd and nvidia as amd as a gpu and nvidia for phsyx. Tried googling but with the announcement of DX12 it's impossible to track down. Anyone with a better memory on here than mine? Mines shot to peices
