    Hey guys,

So basically I have my 1600mhz Corsair XMS3 8GB Kit. My dad got me some random non descript 8GB Kit from his work, its DDR3 2 x 4Gb Kit. This isnt rated to run at 1600MHZ but thought hey why not stick it in, if i can get it running at 1600MHZ without affecting my overclock then why not...Then I have 16GB 1600MHZ Ram?

So first question...How do I tell what speed it is all running at now?

Second question...How would I go about overclocking it so its all at 1600MHZ

Thank you guys for the responses I know i will get! :)

    Happy New Year!

GPU-Z will report memory speeds, as for forcing it to run @ 1600, that may not be possible, you may need to slow the system to suit the lower spec memory. TBH I doubt you'd notice if you set the system to 1333 in the BIOS.
