A second Sonos Play:1 speaker for the burgeoning system. I can see many more being added... Assassin's Creed: Rogue for the PS3 Cambridge Satchel classic in dark brown, embossed initials in silver. New work bag!
I've been trying to convince SWMBO since lunch time yesterday that it was time we got opening our presents out the way. I can't bare them sat there staring at me from under the tree
Hopefully nothing. All of my friends and family are aware of my opinion of the over commercialisation of Christmas and have been told to not spend penny one on me. So I fully expect to get a shed load of tat that I have to pretend to be grateful for and then have to drag off to a charity shop
I shall be enjoying the season with my family thanks, if I want something I can buy it myself, if they want something they can too

I know what I *will be* getting... the thing I'm looking forward to most is this, which hopefully will become something of a woodworking project (replacing scales with highly figured burr wood):
I bought myself a vinyl player, pre amp, a ton of vinyls. Also a fiio USB sound card and AKG headphones. Then i went right ahead and bought myself some more vinyls. For good measure a new Cisco router for home and some extra water cooling gear. Plus I went to NYC and blew **** load of cash. Now all that is left is to file for bankruptcy. Not sure what other people bought me. Probably beer and clothes. I did spend a lot on family, but there is something about buying gifts for others that brings out the selfish ******* in me.

Super Smash Bros. I had one, but got another so the mrs. and children can play as well:- External Hard Drive, I use one for lots of things, Wii U, pictures etc. I needed something a bit bigger than a 32GB stick so:- I got a few other bits and pieces that the mrs. insists on getting me. Mainly joke gifts.
I've had my Christmas present for ages, the iPad air which my folks brought home from Pittsburgh back in September. That was a one off expensive item, but we have also come to the conclusion that Christmas has been over commercialized and do not spend a lot of money on each other. For us it's about a few quiet days off work with family and friends, good food, a few drinks and as we are a Christian family, it would be wrong for me not to mention the real reason for the season, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. With a nice Christmas bonus and the pleasant surprise of a couple of overdue invoices being paid, I've treated myself to quite a few items for the van, which are detailed in the latest purchases thread.
One of those & BF4 & COD:AW for an early xmas pressie for myself. And these two from mum. Other than that, i'm left on my own this xmas. Sorta miss my family but my mates will be round on xmas day for a few bevvies.
