yes but in the other thread, a simple description and a link are necessary. Otherwise reading 5 app names doesn't mean anything Plus, it should be about neat, unique underground apps, not firefox and itunes, which everybody uses

since when did programs became apps? i prefer the world executable! Firefox.exe Thunderbird.exe Steam.exe mpc-hc.exe and....... explorer.exe
In which case: Soundconverter (All my music on my pc is .flac, my ipod wants .mp3s) Tuxguitar (Open source powertab and guitar pro reader/editor/player) BasKet (Note taking, copy and paste anything in here type app, kinda like Onenote) Kalzium (Hugely informative and wonderful periodic table, I'm a chemistry + biology undergrad) Unetbootin (Creates bootable OS' on a USB stick/SD Card)
Just off the top of my head: UltraEdit WinRAR CCleaner NetXfer PowerStrip I could easily add a few more...
