Dead Space 3 on PC to be straight port, no additional features added

The PC version is understood to have some graphics options, but no support for DirectX 11, no additional high-resolution textures, and no further graphical enhancements above and beyond those seen on the PS3 or Xbox 360.

First porting from consoles, then abandon the creation of high quality PC games with cutting edge graphics, then shorten the play time to 3 hours max, then introduce micro-payment for a game you already bought.

No wonder the PC market is dead. And they can all blame themselves for it.!

The answer is 42, so... whats the question again?
If you know what 'Peek' and 'Poke' represents, then you are probably as old as me.
In 1982 I was addicted to Lady Bug and played it in the local arcade (every day) And yes i'm proud I did that!

Dead Spin: Yes, The PC Deserves A Better Dead Space 3

During an interview with Shack News, Dead Space 3 producer Steve Papoutsis expressed confusion about why PC players are disappointed at the lack of any extra frills in our version of the game. “It’s confusing to me that this question even comes up,” he says. It’s by no means any less important to us; it gets a lot of attention. The PC is a very different platform. As developers, you want to deliver an experience that’s as similar as possible on different platforms.”
