Hey all, Lacking any proper, official announcement, I thought I'd sling this in here. Custom PC has launched an eBook which I edited, collecting some of the best hard technology journalism we've ever written. It's only £2 and if it's successful we'll certainly look to do more. Here's a little blog post I wrote on the topic: http://joemartinwords.com/2012/10/04/the-science-of-computing/ Cheers Joe
Just bought this, looks great! will give it a good read over the forthcoming week I was actually thinking about something similar to this as i was reading the new cpc mag and it had an arduino tutorial in it. I'm just about to get into learning some basic arduino stuff and was wondering how many tutorials/articles on this kind of thing i'd missed out on in CPC mags. Artciles on things like Arduino and the likes have a much longer "lifespan" (if you get me) than other some other kinds of articles, and these are the kind of articles you could compile into a mini book to sell, i know i'd be one to buy if ever one came about In short, please make mini books on cool stuff like Arduino compiled from the 100+ cpc's, and sell em as mini mags
As pointed out in the review, you don't need a Kindle to read it. The Kindle app means you can read it on your phone, tablet or browser at no extra cost.
