Very compact, I like. Few suggestions:

Could you get L-frame aluminium sections for the cathodes? Would theme them in nicely, let you do a bit more cable tidying and also light up the guts of the case more.

Why have you used plain sheet metal for the CD drive? If you could match up the corn pattern it would be very nice and stealthy

These bits aside, it's a cute little case. Scratchbuilt, yah?

THe cables look pretty tidy already so i dont think he realy needs that. As for the plain sheet i think it looks better just the way it is i dont know how to explain it but the difference in looks just makes it stand out and POP. By the way good job and from scratch i give you my seal of approval.

Hiding lights almost always improves the look of the case when your main goal in using them is to light the case, not show off the lights. And yes the cables are lookign good, but there are a few white ones that, whilst not messy as such, would still look better stealthed to match the look of the case, Take the CCFL stuck the side, for example - add an L-channel hiding it that runs across to the front and you can guide the wire along that. Even trim the channel down to 1cm or so so you get it widening out where the light is.

The use of metal depends on whether he wants it stealthed or standing out, I suppose, but the plain sheet looks a bit dull next to the raised corn pattern (is that what you call it?)

    looks awesome....

one question - where did you get the key thing? I got one off of a website and it works the wrong way = it turns off when the key is in and on and turns on when the key is out...sort of defeating the purpose....thanks :thumb:
