Ok after 6 months better try and put some order to some pictures that have been posting. With lot of old bits floating around my pit and some stuff from work decided to build my self a Nas / small server (not decided yet). On Side note as everyone says this this is the first case I have ever try to build bit of a learning curve and alot of reading to be done. With a Quick chat with the powers that be a rather large sheet of 2mm stainless steel was aquired Plates cut down tacked and started to tig together cube Tig Welds sanded clean 8mm Perf mesh cut to size Mesh and Fan Mount can you Guess what it is yet ?
Slow by name Slow by nature some little case feet been added MB plate marked out read for some more tapping
a square line not something I am used to in my job A tile saw is a very hot method of cutting but when needs must Time to start some filing
Time for a little Hdd mount for 2 drives 16gauge Stainless drilled and bent mmmm Shiny Two old drives mounted up for setting size
Wonted to keep the Hdd tray and the MB tray as one so bit more marking and some M5 tapping sorry forgot to take some pics. cutting the M5 bolts down I nicked the MB plate but it wont be seen another one to put down to stop rushing and pay attention
if I pull my finger out I might finish something started months ago few coats of white primer and a little bit of gray and a sneak peek of colour
That IS small! What a pack! It's impressive when every single centimetre is organized to fit properly! Great Job!
