A bit crushed by this news. Bowie is one of my all-time musical idols. What a horrible shock.

First thing I thought was ''Sixty-Nine? Same year as Space Oddity''. Farewell Ziggy Stardust.

For a near to death cancer patient he looks pretty dam healthy 2 days before his final breath.

    Fishy.

Not really, keep loaded up on the pain killers, keep smiling. You'd never notice if he lost weight anyway, the guy was tiny.

On the same note, Lemmy was gigging right up until the middle of December, don't stop till you drop.

My theory is that he didn't got any treatments. He look way too good for someone who'd be on radio/chimio + medication.

Definitely no chemo. I saw a picture of him with the hat off, his hair was salon styled condition (as expected for a pop star) But why wouldn't you have treatment?

I dunno, that picture, something is niggling me. The smile, feels like dupers delight. Great way to sell an album.......... lets face it, no one would have bought it without this event.

I've seen 3 people decline from cancer. Non of them looked anything remotely like a healthy person in the final stages.

He looks fitter than me and I'm only 48:hehe:

I'm sticky with "Fishy" for now. Who knows with the Satanic Cult they call the music industry. They are a bunch of freaks .............

Would make more sense if he died of a heart attack or struck by lightning, he does not look like someone who's about to die from cancer.

Note: His album would have sold even if he didn't died, he is Bowie. Personally I liked Blackstar and Lazarus ( My favorites classics are Space Oddity, The Man who sold the World, Ziggy Stardust & China Girl)

Yes, it would have sold, but I doubt it would have got anywhere near number one is my feeling. There can't be that many Bowie fans still out there, compared to current so called "Superstars".

Don't know what to think for sure, but one thing I can be sure of, he is the healthiest, happiest, near to death (allegedly) human being I am ever likely to see!

When the King of Pop died, it was on the news for 3 weeks and his music was everywhere. B.B Kind died and his music was all over the place for at least a few days. Bowie pass away and he didn't even got 24 hours : / Either I see him as more big than he really was, because I'm fond of classic rock, or the world really don't give much f**** .
