    Hi guys, I gotta problem.

I recently built my PC with all the parts from Scan, and Scan also sent me a free copy of eSCAN. When itwas built, i thought I'd give it a go. Cos I got no idea whether its good, bad, terrible etc.

Anyhow, I just plugged in my external with all my old college work on it, and eScan is blocking it.
The message is titled, 'eScan Endpoint Security Alert'. and it reads:

"The policy set for this computer prohibits the use of this unauthorized storage device"
    "WD 10EACS External USB device"
"click Allow or Dismiss to change device permissions"

It then has an allow and dismiss button with a password. The Problem is, I cant click the allow button, only the dismiss one. In fact even thepassword hint key can't be clicked. My settings are set to administrator and there isn't anything I shouldn't be able to do.

    so basically, 2 questions:

    Wtf do i do?
    and
Is eScan very reliable? any good? etc. and if not, any better solutions?

    Thanks guys. Bill.

Uninstall it and get MS Security Essentials.
