I'm somewhat surprised nvidia decided to team up with HP, considering HP's streak of stupid decisions and shortcomings, but at least there's finally a major company in the mainframe market that is trying to be more GPU focused. IBM, Dell, Oracle, and I think Cray only use CPUs for servers, but HP could have an edge by shooting for GPU servers. HP at the moment is pretty much competing directly with Dell, as they're the only 2 companies in my list that are (to my knowledge) strictly x86 oriented.

The next interesting thing would be if Dell decided to go for ARM.
