Silverstone warranty

Hi guys.

What is the deal with Silverstone PSU warranty? The item in question is around 18 months old, and according to Silverstone should be covered for up to two years. However, the support section of their web page states that they do not deal directly with end users and that consumers should go through the original retailer.

Thanks!
