My open-ended "mods wot I have done" thread.

Rather that post randomly in the other threads, I thought I'd create a place to post my little mods so that I can easily find them in the future.

To kick things off: pipes.

For a while, I've not been happy with the way my watercooler's pipes sit against one of my case fans.

The picture doesn't show it very well, but the fan causes them to bent quite a bit which puts more pressure than I'd like on the radiator inlet and outlet, and the last thing I want is for a pipe or the actual radiator to fail because of it.

So, after a few quick snips of the fan guard with a wire cutter and a couple of cuts of the fan housing with the dremmel-a-like, I managed to significantly reduce the amount that the tubes have to bend (and therefore the amount of pressure on the hoses and radiator).

Job done.

I've just tidied the area around the GPU case fan up a bit by re-routing the fan and mobo header cables and attaching a fan grill so it now matches the other fans. I need a couple more grills for the radiator fans but they're not visible from the front so I can get away with it for now.

You may also notice the sound dampening material I fitted to the sides. Some may say it's an old foam mouse mat that's been cut to fit but I'm sure it's premium material really.

I'm pleased with how the build looks and performs but I want to do something about the 24pin ATX and PCIE power cables, and I'd like some lighting in there too (at the moment only the GTX and Coolermaster logos are lit up and visible through the window).
