The new site will have TLS, yes - but be aware that TLS would not have protected against this breach. This was not a man-in-the-middle attack; this was an SQL dump via a vulnerability in vBulletin.

I don't store the important passwords centrally online but there are way too many trivial accounts in my life not to use something like lastpass. The important accounts don't go on it and the really important ones get two factor.
