Curves for fanblades aren't coplanar so you will need to manually build the surface up and then soften the edges.

Nice models but your molex connector is way too wide.. or short.. have a look at the dimensions .

I've been wondering why you guys prefer sketchup to some bigger tool, like 3dsmax- they've got better/more editing tools ?? ( and why models exported to 3ds have wrong dimensions...)

Sketchup is so quick and easy to learn. It's versatile in that you can sketch with as much or as little detail as you want and make changes so quickly and easily.

Exported models with incorrect dimensions have been drawn using the wrong units.

what he ^^ said.
I use Sketchup cos I want to sketch. If I want to take ages making somthing that looks realistic, I'll plan it in Sketchup and make it in the real world and take photos!

Heve you tried using max(it's what I'm using)??
I did not see any boolean operation, lofts, beizer curves, and these seem to me like basic modeling stuff... but maby they are there, just could't find them

The reason I use Sketchup is that I cannot understand how to do everything in 3DMax....I was able to get the trial of sketchup, and get modding on my first try. No need to know formulas, and complicated ways to bend lines, and ways to complete cubes!
