Internet connection reestablished (for a while) and phone problem solved.
Here are the chisel work in progress:


Sanding almost finished:


The back of the case was also 'cleaned' from various plastic ridges and stands. The blue paper represents a sheet of perspex that will be sanwiched between the case and a inner piece of aluminium. The perspex will be illuminated with leds so that the connecters have a glowing edge around them.


I/O layout planned:


How everything will be placed inside the case depends in part of how deep the connecters are going to be. I'm scouring the web for panel mounted connecters. I've found a few so far but they are a bit too big (deep).
