Hello I now have Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC Via Steam

    My PC specs are

Power Color Radeon R9290 4 Gig
Intel Core I7-4790 LGA 1150 Haswell
    2x 4gig DDR3 PC3-19200 2400 MHz Radeon R9 Gamer Series
    MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard
    Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit
    240 Gig Crucial SSD

Yes I have the 14.12 Catalyst Drivers installed

When I am outside which lets face is is most of the game it runs very jerky & like absolute garbage it is putting me off of playing it & ruining my enjoyment of the game

any ideas for fixes or things to try before I try something to drastic which may not help like a full format

Reduce settings would be a start point.

yes I know but most of time it is not recommended to use the beta ones this just seems to be the one time I am lucky with them normally they cause me problems

Been running beta drivers for ages on my 780Ti's and rarely if ever have a issue with them.

Yeah, most of time beta drivers are ready to deploy but are just awaiting certification.

I thought that they only went certified with certain releases? There is nothing stopping a beta drive being WHQL other than hassle.

I had a lot of stuttering until I found a fix online, this is for Nvidia but I don't see why it wouldn't work on AMD, force tripple buffering on, force vsync on and disable shader cache, since doing that I have been able to ramp up the settings with 0 problems.
