I didn't even know that we were getting a new forum. Can someone link me to the announcement about it?

There wasn't the note was dropped in a thread in here around mid-year after the forum got hacked. Nice to see getting rid of ancient vB is still top priority ;)

    Hi guys,

Apologies, I was not ignoring this just wanted a clearer idea from the powers that be before responding. There's no concrete date, although it is close to completion. The plan is to deploy it as part of something bigger, about which I shall say no more. I know this is vague but we're doing our best to make the wait worth it!

Just note that the mincemeat is not actually minced animal. Its like vegetable suet, raisins, orange peel, apple and other similar fruity ingredients steeped in brandy and left to mature for a few weeks, then baked into small pies.

Any time anyone now asks about site-related progress, I'm just going to point and shout, "Look! Sweet, tasty food over there!"

I believe due to the customisations on the site, the version of VBulletin used cannot be updated (easily) and so they are kind of stuck on it, which is not very secure to say the least.

Except vB version is waaaay out of date. And yea it can't be updated since it's heavily customized.
