A test on microphones would be nice, for all the guys ( like me ) who already have nice headphones but don't want to get another set with a built-in mic...

Corsair CX600 V2 psu would be good, I just bought a new pc but like a fool I didn't specify the psu myself.

Corsair's product page states:

CX600 V2 PSUs deliver the power needed for medium specification home or office PCs that do not have high numbers of components, while also offering high energy efficiency and low noise.

http://www.corsair.com/power-supply-...er-supply.html

Kind of has me a bit worried that - a 600w psu not designed for a high number of components ?

Have also read a lot of very negative user experiences with this psu, so hopefully a review site will cover it at some point in the future and hopefully I can be reassured lol.

Headsets and surround sound. Comparisons of virtual surround effects via cmss, Dolby headphone in a variety of implementations (xfi, sonar, mix amp) verses 5.1 headsets.

Microstutter investigation with xfire/sli and single high end cards.

Mouse roundup including sensor failure rates, jitter, acceleration and other flaws.

+1 for surround/eyefinity monitors review. Specifically needs to look at ghosting and latency, colour quality and bezel size along with other ultra wide options.

16:10 game problems and stretching and fov.

Review the modmic.

The simple mouse is something I would like to see reviewed. Not the all singing all dancing comes with more buttons than a cardigan gaming type. But a decent all rounder mouse.

Seeing as there is a general trend towards smaller cases, could you do reviews of small form factor components e.g low profile gpu, low profile fans and sfx power supplies.

For those of us in a dilemna...

I would like to see an article on recommended upgrade options for those of us with 1st Gen Core i3/i5/i7 Chips and whose machines were built on recommendations in your magazine end 2010 / early 2011.

For example, with Intel's Haswell due 2nd/3rd Quarter of 2013 - is it worth spending good money now only for it to be superseded (if at all) in 6 months time.

What are the real world incremental performances of each new generation i3/i5/i7 over their predecessors? There are soooo many to choose from that any light you can shed on this would be most beneficial.

some of the cpu reviews actually compare with older intel chips eg:

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/201...-3220-review/4

the new IB i3 also has the i7 of the vintage you mention within it

Hey Baz, I was in disbelief to find not a single major Reviewer made a CPU Cooler round-up, last time TH did one was 2011 .. its now 2013

I'm talking high detail charts that will allow people to compare temperature, with db at a nominal distance temperature at lowest RPM and highest RPM etc

basically I want a good quality chart that will help me inform people I build for what the best sound/cooling performance, thats very hard to do without a common testing platform and access to alot of coolers

its a tall order but you can do it BT
