Hi Guys, I am working a proof of concept for a PBX system for home. Got the bits for the server, an avaya ip phone and the phone hardware card is on route. However I need to get a PoE switch to power the phone up. (Could get a power injector but meh, thought I would get a small switch instead). Anyone have any idea where to get one cheap, only one PoE port is actually needed. Regards, Nims

you're best bet is always ebay. I've picked up a few 24 port 10/100s for under a $100, with by far my best score being a Nortel 48 port gigabit PoE switch for $200
if you only need one port why not just get an injector http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-PoE150S-Injector-Adapter-Compliant/dp/B001PS9E5I POE switches are expensive, injectors are cheap! otherwise netgear no an unmanaged 8 port (4 POW switch) which I used before and is fine.
