Is there any issue with having the motherboard upside down with RAM, GFX card plugged in for long duration of time?

By upside down I mean fliped through 180 degrees

    Thanks

Absolutely not. Provided it's all secured down in a chassis, it makes no odds. Some would argue that it's actually better as the GPU kicks out so much heat but to me, it is all much the same.

Any orientation is fine, everything should be attached well enough to be secure in any positioning.

Simply rotating 180 (or 90, or 270) degrees is done by some case manufacturers in some cases.

If you mean mounting flat with components hanging down then beware heavy graphics cards and CPU coolers.
