    I bought Train Sim earlier this year on steam for peanuts so I can get 2012 update free. The 3d engine is very old compared to modern games but when you connect a body vibration cushion it's great. All that's missing is a nude patch for the girls waiting at the various stations.

    This must be how my wife sees me when I play star craft 2. What total dorks waste time on this??

    Totally hate and detest star craft 2. If you think somehow you are better and less of a geek because u play star craft then u are dumber than you look.

    A train sim is a lot of fun for people who are too old or dumb to drive real trains. Add body vibration and it's very immersive.

    Basically it doesn't matter what game or sim you play, you are a nerd so deal with it.

    Well, people play football management games, or as I think of it, competitive Excel against a random number generator. All computer games - all games, really - are pointless at some level, but I reserve a really special venom for Manager of Eleven Ludicrously Overpaid Blockheads 2011. It's almost as brained purposeless and irritating as real football.

    Anyway, if you want to take the piss out of something, take the piss out of that street sweeper aim. Good grief....

    My first reaction when seeing this was 'LOL, train simulator!' Then I looked at the screenshots and thought 'Ooh, InterCity 125' - never played a train sim before, but I'm sorely tempted now.

    Ahhh, so you actually think you are cool and hard sitting on a chair with your hands on keyboard and mouse calling out voip commands to other nerds who totally believe the FPS they are playing is real?

    If you think that is somehow more cool then I suggest you take your ass and your computer down to a public area with lots of girls. They will take the piss out of you.

    I play Crysis 2, Bad Company etc on SLI with the biggest liquid cooling system you ever saw and I am smart enough to know it doesn't matter what game I play, I am still gonna look like a f~ckin ****.

    I can also tell you that the star craft 2 and FPS players here who think they are cool playing those games over a train sim, you would have no f#ckin chance of completing some of the medium or hard missions on the sim.

    It's a simulator thus it won't appeal to many people, that's fine, it's the same for all simulators. The developers offering 20 copies for free is generous and if it doesn't appeal to you then don't enter the competition. :p
