    Cool beans, so I can overclock it as well. Even if not it still seems like better value.

    In a review on tweaktown I think, the 1866 was overclocked some distance beyond 1866. I haven't tried OCing mine.

    OC'ing RAM for current-gen Intel boards will make no difference outside of benchmarks. The same can be said of the difference between 1600MHz and 1866MHz, but if they're the same price then you might as well go for it.

    That's why I don't bother OCing it. Even if I had 1600mhz I wouldn't bother.

    All the dual/quad labelling basically means is that the sticks will work together without issue. So if you have a quad channel board and bought two different dual channel kits, there's a chance they won't work together as there might be certain differences.
