Hi All, Well the new ZETA core has killed my PPD. My 450s have dropped from 12000PPD to 7500PPD, (the 650Tis have gone up from 16000 to 20000) and I have twelve 450s. So looks like it's time to dump the 450s and find something else, either; 3x650Ti at; 60000PPD 192W 312.5PPD/W £300 200PPD/£ or 2x660Ti at; 120000PPD 300W 400PPD/W £400 300PPD/£ or 2x660 at; 86000PPD 280W 307PPD/W £280 307PPD/£ or 1x670 at; 71000PPD 170W 418PPD/W £275 258PPD/£ I quite like the 650s as they are quiet and cool. But I can't see past the PPD of 660Tis and they'll be sellable later as they are good cards for gaming.
Doc said he had the V7 client running on Linux I seem to remember. I don't know about the V6 client, but I just added "client-type beta" to the V7 client.
If using the v6 client, then you need to use WINE - there are threads on the Forums of how to get GPU's Folding in v6, but trust me, it is far, far, far easier with v7 !!
I already did that, but HFM.NET wont report PPD: Running 9% Q9450 & GTX460 Slot 00 Uniprocessor 00:13:14 0 (1.088 WUs) 20:04:14 Unknown 17 P8900 (R839, C0, G5) 0 49 0 scorpuk (35947) 01/06/2013 19:53 08/06/2013 07:53 Click on link below to see HFM output. This is now the second unit its on and still 0 ppd
i dont normally use it but just downloaded 0.9.1 added v7 client then client name address password and it auto added my both 660s
You have to download the beta psummary "psummaryC.html" Then HFM.net reports the QRB just fine, as you can see from the link in my .sig (and Doc's)
Got it tnx. Yay for Google. Edit web settings and change the project download url to http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummaryC.html
I'm running Core 17 on a number of machines - it's now under 'advanced'. However, having driver problems with WinXP when coupled with a GTX 780 - none of the 320.xx drivers appear to be stable for more than a couple of days
