hi, just wondering where is the best place to trade in nowadays? or is ebay a better bet? 3 month old xbox 360 60GB console (boxed with manual and all cables) 2 wireless controllers headset gears of 1/2 game halo 3 any rough idea of what i could get? cheers
gamestation will beat all cex prices by at least a pound, so do your homework, and go there. forget about GAME, they're awful.
They are the same company now just running a bit different to each other, GAME is a bit more upmarket and gamestation seems to focus more on the second hand market.
Could try putting it up on Play.com, their playtrade service is pretty good. Only downside is that it takes a while to get the money transferred into your bank account.
well, yeah, but gamestation still have better trade in prices, especially with the cex-beating policy
true they do seem better prices if your trading stuff, I would have a look around on ebay and watch a few similar packages and see if they seem to get more than what you can get if you trade it in
I would say avoid ebay these days. Its very expensive to sell on ebay now due to the massive fees they charge. The listing fees, insertion fees, gallery fees plus a final valuation fee of 10% of the selling price, then knock another 5+% off when the guy pays by paypal.... I recently sold a macbook pro laptop on ebay and was disgusted at having to give ebay/paypal nearly £60 for the privilege of selling it. So Im voting with my wallet and not selling another thing on that site.
