omg this old gts 8800 320 meg is slow@folding

    Well folks as u may now I been busy with the other sli machine I made and I had 2 take my 8800gt out of this and put in my very old 8800gts 320 meg in this which has a q6700 @ 3.2 ..ppd are a rather very low 2063 for project 5754 for 511 points ...what should i buy a 9600gso or better ..ps its a hipper psu :-( and i Dont want 2 spend any more money THAN i HAVE 2 lol , no i just want around 3-5k ppd off it without going silly as some of us do. I know the mag has all the facts on ppd vs bucks etc just wanted a personal op....... thkns in ad....

    The 511 point work units are notorious for giving low points per day. They also increase the temperature of your graphics card.

    If you are going to put two cards in one PC then it is better if they both have the same number of shaders. One of the others will know which cards have the same number, when they wake up tommorrow.

    8800GT - 112 shaders
    8800GTS - 96 shaders
    9600GSO - 96 shaders

    Arrange your cards accordingly

    Well I have ditched the old 8800 gts and replaced it with a shiney new 9800gt ppd have doubled almost on it this warm weather could cause problems my living room is like an oven now
