Not all your pictures are loading, try resizing them to something sensible like 1024*768 or similar .... use MS Paint if needs be

    Update 28-09-2015

Lovely weather in London last weekend, got some work done on the mod.

Fittings came. But even though it said Matt Black, its got a bit of gloss on it. This wont do need to paint them.

Spraying matt black on them. I wont bore you guys with every fitting.

Now to cutting the pass through holes on the bottom PSU cover.

    1st coat of matt black

While the paint dries time to mod the front grill.

Time to get the theme of the mod going.

    Boom

Now after a couple of more coats and wet sanding and painting.

We return to the PSU cover

    Building the drain plumbing

Thats as far as we are going to get on that for now.. :D

Time to move on to the PSU cables

    Lighting kit from NZXT

After modding it and mounting it on the back of the motherboard tray. I ran the lighting cables behind the motherboard give that hidden ambient beam light effect

I apologise for the bad night time photo. :sigh: I need to get a tripod before I can take better pictures. I will one and get the pictures done before the mod is done.

Building the Fill port and fill tube

Putting the behind the motherboard tray water tube routes

Thats all on tubing for now..

Time to mod the M.2 Drive

Green and ugly doesn't go with my black theme :nono:

I mounted the plate onto the drive using 3M double sided thermal pads. Since these drives are known to get very hot it will act as a heat sink as well.

What do we have here.. Its a black ice 120 GT stealth radiator

Its gloss black, so 1st I need to make it matt black

    Magnetic fan filter from Silverstone

I might chase the way its setup later need to think about a filter / grill mounting / mod. :eyebrow:

Corsair Air slow fan for the bottom air intake of the case

I removed the connectors on the end since they were grey, and this fan is going to be visible. Also it didn't go well with the turbine look that I wanted out of it.

Adding velcro to the bottom to hold the fan in place and to act as a anti vibration mount.

That is place where this fan was supposed to be mounted.

Pulls in cold air from the bottom and also act as a cooler for the pump.

Next up is to mod the control panel.

Will be back with more updates soon

    Thanks for looking.

    The fully mounted board.

    Checking clearance with GPUS

    Back in the box

    Finally all the RAM arrived.

Time to start bending those tubes

Yea mate, finally bit the bullet to upgrade. Held out for so long. Glad you like the mat black. I was debating with mat black and chrome for ages finally gave into the stealth look.

Finally managed to get the tubing done.

I ran into a few difficulties while I was doing it. The bending kit I bought couldn't do the tight bends that I needed. I had to make the bending moulds by my self using a bit a aluminium that was left over.

Did all the tubing all over again to keep all the bends consistent. Which means that all the work I did last week was a waste. :wallbash:

But this is what I ended up with and I am very happy with the results. Let me know what you think about them.

Managed to start on another few bits and bobs after that was done.

Custom SLI bridge on the way.

Also proceeding on with the control panel mod.

Next thing to do : Sleeve all those cables and mod the panel a bit to my liking.

Will be back soon with more.

    Thanks for looking peeps.

Not sure your GPU loop will work the way it is setup. it looks like it will just bypass your water blocks. or force the water the wrong way. or is the top loop back just a blank. ?

:thumb: Great spot. Yes its a blank and purely for looks. It will be filled with liquid to make it look as if there is coolant circulating in it.

Cut a hole on the top to make a pass through for the fill port.

Trying on some random fittings I had with me.

Waiting for the fill port fittings I ordered to arrive, and did a bit of cable management in the process as well.

Time to fill it up and leak test the system

Left it running for a few hours. All was good.

Booted up to test, Did the the windows install and did a few quick over-clocks to see how everything was holding up.
