Food & Drink The Official bit-Tech Beverage Thread - What are you drinking ?

Hello chaps,

The point of this thread is to know what you are drinking at this very moment, is it coffee (what blend?), is it soda, is it booze, is it tea or some special unknown beverage only known by those who've already drank it ?

I'll begin, I'm drinking a cup of vietnamese Tan Huong tea.

for me, a glass of teeth rotting, potentially cancer causing sugary goodness of dubious nutritional merit... [Coca Cola]

 

Glass of cold Black Tower fruity white wine with dinner (BBQ of red meat & chicken).

 

I had a thread started but it died a while back. I'm actually going to a bbq tonight so I decided to give gin and juice a try just now. Sadly, someone drank all the raspberry pink lemonade so I only had 1/2 a glass to mix with some sapphire bombay gin, but it tasted alright, and pink lemonade is rather refreshing. Based on the weather, I think it will be a great drink for tonight.

 

Water. Lots and lots of water.

I'm boring.

 

Sure...I do blind my beans before throwing them into hot water, it's more human.

Right now I'm drinking a Diet Dr Pepper

 

Coke Float.

chilled coke + ice cold Ice-cream = WIN!

 

Can't say I've ever had a float but the idea of pop and ice cream doesn't appeal to me at all.

I've got some warm water, it gets the job done.

 

Red stripe tonight!

 

Barq's Root Beer.

Before that it was way too much Natural Ice beer. More than 100 days sober now though, so just Root Beer from here on out.

I need something new to drink, Coke, Beer and Full Milk are probably the reason my trousers feel suspiciously tight.

 

Guinness Here. Not everyone's thing, but I love it.

 

Home made iced coffee, it's the mutts nuts.

 

I just made a pot of Sencha Tsukigase

 

You remind me of my dad when he's here. He leaves us and spends 2 weeks buying various teas that he can't get in South Africa.

 

Distilled water, purely because I'm too lazy to go to the water cooler on a different floor and I can just bottle this stuff and stick it in the fridge

 

The only drink worth drinking in my opinion. Although with the warm weather at the moment its cider all the way.

 

Chocolate milk!

Right now i'm drinking a cup of Russian Caravan, nothing like a smoked tea to accompany the brunch.
