    From what i can gather from all the talk is that its actually a tn panel and not an ips.

    I will buy one of these when it comes out if the reviews are good and it's 60hz. I have been preparing my rig in anticipation.

    If that's TN then it can go corrode in a ditch. Bring on the VA or IPS 4k monitors please.

    If it's a VA or IPS panel, then bank manager beware!

    Sadly it's a TN panel. And can only do 30Hz at 4K, even on DisplayPort (but no official specs).
    I guess they had to cut a lot to have such price.

    I still think the 24inch 4K Dell monitor is the best deal, is someone really wants 4K now.

    That's a shame. 24" is just a bit too small for me after have used a 30" for the last few years.
