    Hi guys.

I’ve got my first watercooling project on the go at the moment. I’m absolutely loving it, and my friend has become interested in getting involved. Now, does anyone have any good recommendations for cheap and cheerful cases that will take a watercooling setup? We don’t mind buying second hand etc and aren’t in any particular rush. We’d like the case to take at least one 240 rad and one 120 Rad. Willing to do a little modding, but don’t really want to be slicing and dicing too much!

Budget is around the £60-£100 mark.

    Any suggestions?

+1 to this, good case at a reasonable price and you could at a push squeeze 2 240 rads, in, although not full 60mm thick ones.

    A video to demonstrate

Nice yeah,. Reasonably priced, good looks. Shame it has those two huge 120mm fan mounts in the side panel....though of course a case window could solve that problem.

I quite like the nzxt phantom, you can fit a 360 & 120 in it

Pricey for what it is however, the CM690 II is a far better option for the parameters Parge has highlighted :)

fractal design arc midi. it is quite cheap and can fit a triple rad. Also you can fit thick radiators. I have a push pull in. I only have a 240 atm but you could definitely fit more in with 10mins modding

P.S. the case comes with 3 140 mm fans and an aditional hdd cage

    I LOVE the Arc Midi.

Apart from the roof rad, anywhere you can fit a 120mm fan too? (or indeed another 240?)

With a minor alteration you can mount a 240 0r 280 vertically here :thumb:

That would be such a great setup.

What is the alteration you have to make?

No space for HDs, I'd have to mount them on the back panel (no problem, as they'd only be 2.5" drives)

    Thread revival!

I’ve had to put my Blue Caldera project on hold for the time being (my GPU is too wide for the case!). So it’s now me looking for a watercooling case.

Ideally it needs to hold at least 2x 240’s as I have 2x GTX 480 to cool, but I could probably get away with 1x 240 and 1x 120. At the moment I’m thinking the Arc Midi is my best bet with a 240 at the top and a 120 on the bottom, unless the 690 Advanced can hold 2x 60mm 240 without modding?

Have you considered one of the Dimastech test benches? They can hold a pair of 360 rads internally. Or do you want a proper case?

HAF 932 Adavanced has space for a 240 in the roof and a 120 in the rear...it's what I have case wise and what I might be using as when i water cool my system.

Currently in two minds as I have an idea for a scratch build. but that's for when I have money, and I need a job first too  I know the CM HAF 932 is pretty ugly so maybe not.

    Look at the space

I think the HAF932 can fit a 360 in the top actually. At least, my one could.
