I prefer it without the LEDs...

I'm surprised something like this hasn't come around sooner.

    Gareth, you've misspelled two-way.

Edit: Ninja fixed before I posted!

If they weren't $30 a pop, I'd honestly consider getting one just because of the rather nice metal shielding.

They would match the hilariously expensive Titans though.

700 series and above......yep that me going and buying a set just so I can have a funky sli bridge.

Or we could just hack them to light up :p

PS: EVGA, it doesn't match your current boards cosmetically....just saying like.

Which is why I'd paint my metal black! Honestly, at that point I could just shield and modify my own. What's interesting to me is that there's no support for 600 series LEDs :(

Hmm, this is quite a nice little accessory. I can imagine since EVGA are diving in, others will follow too, I certainly can't see Asus standing by without getting their RoG branding in on the scene. I just wrapped mine in white di-noc, which doesn't look bad, but it's not great either. All the more interesting, modded ones I made ended up looking a bit crap sadly. One of these fancy bridges would make a great base for a little mod, especially given that the LEDs are already present.

Aye, spotted it on a re-read just after I'd sent the piece live - you're obviously a fast reader!
I'm guessing - and this is just a guess, I haven't looked at the spec - that the 700 series adds a 5V line to the SLI connector that's missing on the 600 series, and it's this line that EVGA is tapping for the LEDs.

Looks like I have just found my new SLI bridge for when I change my cards aslong as I stick with Nvidia for my next cards.

I do like the look of these and am surprised no one has done them before.

I too am surprised this hasn't been done until now, though this particular model looks like it would block a lot of air flow, depending on how your case is arranged of course.

I've always thought the SLI bridges are ugly, I'll be getting one when they are on sale

Actually it's just occurred to me, remember this bridge from back when the Titan was unveiled?

Would have been nice if Nvidia actually made those. Personally I think it's nicer looking than even the EVGA one. Although I must admit I'm not overly fond of the giant logos, guess they've got to put something on there though.

You're probably right. Which means technically i could jury rig this via a small lead into the SLI fingers. :D

Cool. Would be nice to replace my ribbon cable. Oh wells, doesn't really matter for me as I don't have a window to show it off. Got a blue LED 200mm fan on the side instead. Ah the purty colors.....
