    Hullo kids,

Havent been here in a while, but anyway...

In my new flat, my EE Brightbox router doesn't reach very far, so I picked up an ASUS RT-N56U router that was going spare at home..

I set it all up as per the (somewhat useless) instructions, and it all seems to have gone a bit weird. According to the diagram in the box, I've got the router connected to the back of the original brightbox unit, and then the LAN port one of the ASUS connected up to the PC.

This lets me get onto the internet, but only via logging onto the original EE set up, not the ASUS router... I would have thought that the ASUS router would have sort of joined up to the same network name etc as the EE, but it doesnt. And when I log onto the network of the ASUS there is no web connection...

Any ideas? I've been hunting around and have absolutely no clue whats going on with all this.

    Cheers.
