Part of me is excited that these are the last episodes that has anything to do with RTD but also sad at losing Tennant, especially since his pilot for American TV sounds like a giant steaming turd.

It looks wicked but i think they are trying too hard to make it dark considering it is in essence a child's TV show.
Shame Tennant is leaving though, he has expressed interest in being the Riddler in the next batman if he is written into it. That would be sick!

Well, not really - it's family entertainment, not a 'kiddies show', so it has to keep the Mums & Dads (And grown up nerds ;)) interested. And besides, the original Who before the relaunch wasn't a kids show either. It was prime time entertainment, and had plenty of dark episodes.

Back at the start (November 1963), The BBC charter mandated an educational content to as many shows as possible.
This explains William Hartnell's repeated trips to the BBC wardrobe dept ^H^H^H back in time to meet cavemen, Aztecs, the Romans, Marco Polo, etc.

Don't forget, Sunday. And if you're watching on BBC HD, stick around - as the new series of Top Gear is on straight after Who. :thumb:

Not looking forward to the new Doctor, saw a couple of preview pics earlier and, I don't know, he just doesn't look like the Doctor. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see I guess...

This is the last one with Tennant though isn't it (or is there 1 more)? which means the new Doctor should put an appearance in before the end.

Well, I thought that was pretty damn good. :)

I especially like the Doctor becoming unhinged at the end. He was very Master-like until Adelaide shot herself to preserve the timeline

Just a shame that it had Russell T Davies name anywhere near the "Written By" section of the credits.

    Did you enjoy it?

If yes, why does it matter that Russ T. had a hand in it? Ok, he's managed to right some cack in the past, but hey - it was a good episode. Besides, he's off in another two episodes time and the Grand Moff takes over. So that should make you happy. ;)
