    Hello gang!

This would be my first official build.
After a couple of years having to hear my noisy and overheated laptop, I remembered how much I dislike noisy and overheated computers.
And beeing a fan of SFF builds I went with this m-Atx case.

I started a couple of weeks ago, uncertain wetherornot to publish this I figured why not.

The name comes from the upcoming album from the band 'Ghost', Infestissumam meaning hostile.
Tho my hardware want be that wery extreme.

Enough, heres what I got so far :)

Sorry for some crappy pictures :worried:

Ripped it out of its packaging and went to town.

    Got some hardware..

Did some paracording on my mainboard to get a feel of how to do it.

    Then moved on to this.

Then moving on to the PSU.

"R u shur u know whats ur doin?"

    Gotto learn be doing
    [IMG]

    Shortened the 24-pin about 20cm.

    Turned this..

    ..to this
    [IMG]

    And then to this
    [IMG]

And after many hours soldering, swearing, paracording, I was pleased.

    Testfitting and planning.
I cant remember my original plan, so everything just happens from what already has been, happened(?) :D
    [IMG]

Got some sheet metal. It was greasy like.. Just reeeeally greasy.
But nothing the turtle cant handle.

And as all my old cutting disc had siezed to exist I got the new one with the EZ-Lock.
And goddamn they cutted! Cutted this, was about 50 cm in length like it was, a cloud?

    New backplate.

    And the PSU-plate.

    Perfect fit!

And this is when I noticed that, Im actually building a Node 304?

And after seeing the stock cooler on the graphicscard I decided to make a new one with slighty noiser fan.

So I went to my "hobby room" :naughty:

    It measures 92*92*19 :)

I just wanted to incorporate the Evga 'E' just because :)

And I'll finish this post with a pic from my "hobby room"

This log will hopefully make me stay alert and pushing this build forwards :)

    Thanks for watching!

Whoa. The interest seems quite low in this thread.

Small update for tonight. Hopefully I'll get more done over the upcoming weekend.

Got some more stuffs in the mail today.

And realised that I had order three 120mm fans too many and three 92mm fans less of what I should had :duh:

I seem to have a slight problem with the focus on my dang camera:grr:

The new GPU cooler. Not sure, but I think I'm going to mount the fan in that direction so it dont suck in the hot air that is exhausted by the PSU.

    Cutted the backplate.

Filed the edges a little and drilled some holes.

And now I'm currently dissembling the Kaze Master.

And up next is mostly planning. But for the next update I'm hoping to have all the metalwork done.

Worth to mention is that the outer shell(?) and front panel will NOT be used.
I got some billet action brewing for yall :thumb:

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Hi all!
Didn't get that much done over the weekend. The weather has been to nice and also I got hungover which ruined like 2 days for me

Well a little something at least.

I had some spacers/feets for the power supply I had turned(lathed?) earlier.
They were glued on to the baseplate with two component epoxy.

Did some paracording on the power cables for the Kaze Master, SSD and also on the temp. probes :)

And I tried mounting everything. And I realised that I should move the power supply a little.
Just in case I want to upgrade my graphics card later to a longer one.

And since the only spare RAM I had was too old to even fit the board I couldn't see if there were something wrong with anything.

I have been terrified for maybe breaking anything with static electricity.
Animal hair and rugs all over the house. But I seem to be OK for now :)

So, next on the build to be done is the new shell/casing I think.
Then there will be the final planning and programming for the new front.
Some more sheet metal work and new paint I believe..

It doesn't seem much but I have no idea when I'll be finished with this. On the other hand, I aren't in any hurry :hip:

    Thanks alot! :)
If you liked the heatsink, you should check in once I start milling the new front :thumb:

Unfortunately I'm a little low on funds and time.

But things are happening, tracking down some acrylic and lasers and so on.
I think it'll look sweet :dremel:

    Hey all.

So after working couple of hours today I still felt like doing some more milling.

    Consider this a tease!

I started with a ~350mm in diameter and 50mm thick scrap piece.
There was alooooot of chips let me tell you

    After some blasting
    [IMG]

I said to myself before starting milling that this piece was only as a try-out for the fan-controller and front connectors.

The real front will be slightly different
And hopefully, all things should match up when I start on the real front piece later on :p

    Cheerio!

And since then I've changed it a couple of times more :worried:

At this pace, I'm just hoping I'll finish it this decade :D

    Thanks! And lols no :D
Its at my work. But no one other than myself is allowed to get jiggy with it ;)
