Okay, so I'm fed up of the microsoft ball mouse we have with its sticky scroll wheel and dodgey tracking. It must be something like 8 years old now:D. I've been looking at gaming mice in the range of 30 to 40 pounds. I don't need a supermouse, just something that tracks accurately, scrolls reliably and (if possible) has 2 side buttons. Can anyone recommend anything? I'm hoping for the word 'Razer' to be in one of your replies xD.

    Razer Deathadder Re-Spawn Mouse

Cant fault this one, never had a problem with it, very comfortable if you palm grip, the side buttons are just in the right place for my thumbs. and compared to your 'Ball-based-mouse', this uses infrared sensors! =D

I tried a g500 over my deathadder for a fortnight. Wasn't sure if I liked it, so went back to the Deathadder and mmm so much nicer.
Thankfully found a fast buyer for g500 so nothing wasted there :D

had a g500 back then, its a mouse you should consider as well. I liked it but not as much as the Deathadder. Thumb rests aint my thing.
