    ===========================
    ===========================

    Hi All,

    I would like to share my build with you guys :)
    Far from finished, not in a hurry, so I'll take my time.

    It's a watercooled system in a Red Harbinger Cross Desk.

    Hardware: UNKNOWN yet
    I want to finish my watercooling setup first, then I'll look for nice pieces of hardware :D
    Any recommendations for hardware I appreciate!

    Cooling: Watercooling, will use Bitspower Gold/Brass fittings and Mayhems UV White coolant.
    With Primochill clear tubing and Arcylic tubing mixed.

    === update 26-05-14 ===

    Picked up a Cross Desk!

    [IMG]

    It JUST fits in the back of my car :D

    AAaaaaand mounted together:

    [IMG]

    === update 16-07-14 ===

    Collected a bit of stuff I will use :)

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Bitspower Gold / Brass fittings
    Super Flower 1200W PSU
    Lamptron FCT fan controllers
    BitFenix Pro Red fans
    NZXT LED controller
    BitFenix black/gold cables
    2x EK-CoolStream PE 360 Radiator
    2x EK-CoolStream PE 480 Radiator
    3x EK-D5 PWM Motor 12V DC PWM Pump Motor
    5x EK-Cable Splitter 4-Fan PWM Extended

    === update 07-08-14 ===

    Played with the pumps and pump mods/tops :)

    EK-D5 PWM Pump
    Bitspower D5 Mod Kit Gold
    Bitspower BP-D5TOPAC2-BK Acrylic Pump Top

    The boxes:

    [IMG]

    Content:

    [IMG]

    Screw it all together and you'll get:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    With some fittings:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    And with their friends :)

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    I think it looks quite awesome :D :D :D

    Put the True Brass fillports into place:

    [IMG]

    === update 11-08-14 ===

    A little bit of black sleeving for pump wires:

    [IMG]

    I'll guess I'm going to place the pumps like this:

    [IMG]

    === update 13-08-14 ===

    I got my reservoirs from Bitspower, special made for my build with brass top and bottom!

    They will be placed in this way:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    I got my watercooling setup almost complete and I'll start building soon :D

    === update 16-08-14 ===

    Sticked a Neoprene Gasket on to the radiator:

    [IMG]

    Another inside the Cross Desk:

    [IMG]

    The 35mm screws were JUST long enough to get the radiator mounted, needed to use a lot of force :S

    [IMG]

    When drilling holes in the bottomplate for the pump mounting, I used the wrong drill (for wood) and it broke, damaging and scratching the surface :'(
    So I replaced the pumps, the pumps are now placed over the scratches, so you don't see my clumsiness.

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    === update 20-08-14 ===

    This will be my power supply: 1200W Super Flower Leadex 80Plus Platinum - White

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    100% modular :D

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    And the 2x EK-CoolStream PE 480 Radiatoren mounted.

    [IMG]

    === update 30-08-14 ===

    When you use screw fittings, your skin will tear apart.
    I can advise anyone to use these gloves you can buy at your local home depot:

    [IMG]

    Saves a lot of finger skin :D

    I've put the tubing on the pumps and radiator on the right today :)
    Also put some UV LEDs under the pump tops:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    === update ===

    I had a plan for a custom radiator grill for the inside of my two 360 radiators.

    Sw333t drawed something nice, we worked that out and got it lasered out of acrylic, behold... prototype 1:

    [IMG]

    :D

    It has some minor errors and need some improvements, that will be fixed in the final version.
    Already look pretty awesome I think.

    So without grill, the radiator looks like this:
    [IMG]

    Here are some pictures with the prototype grill mounted:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    The logo is an "inlay", so you don't have to put in the logo (blue and red parts).
    Or we can make the inlay in a different color, for example white.
    Then you'll have a black grill with white logo.
    This way, our grill can be used in every build, whatever the color scheme :)

    === update 13-09-14 ===

    I've been playing with my reservoirs today.
    Put the Red Harbinger FMJ Covers over my Bitspower 250 reservoirs.
    And between the reservoirs, two Bitspower BP-FI-CLKBTB flow meters.
    It all just fits!

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    The fittings on the left and right reservoirs aren't identical, because I'm not sure yet what fittings I'm going to use.
    And it all looks a bit dark now with the black FMJ covers, but with white (with backlight) coolant in the reservoirs, it should look really nice :D

    Furthermore I've connected all fans to a Lamptron FCT fan controller.
    Below 60 degrees I'll let the fans run at 40%, above 60 degrees all fans will run 100%, pretty handy :)
    Also installed a NZXT HUE RGB LED Controller.
    Placed the supplied 2 meter LED strip in the front of the Desk.
    And installed 30CM RGB ledstrips plus controller in each feet.
    Pictures:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    A lot of cables beneath the Desk :S
    Hope I will get it flat enough to screw the bottomplate back on.

    [IMG]

    And an overview of my work place :)

    [IMG]

    === update 17-09-14 ===

    Drilled some holes for the reservoirs and wires for the Ledstrips.

    [IMG]

    Cut the Ledstrips to right length and placed it like this:

    [IMG]

    And with the reservoirs back in place with the Ledstrips underneath it :)

    [IMG]

    Hate it when radiators get all dusty. So I placed a Demciflex 360 filter and a Demciflex 480 filter on the intake radiators.
    These filter have the same size as the radiator grill, so the screws were in the way.
    Drilled some holes in the filters to make it fit:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    I wanted to use a standard Blu-Ray player/writer, but after installing, it doesn't look that great :(
    So I purchased a SilverStone SOB02 slim/slot-in BR player/writer.
    Put this in a SilverStone SST-FP58B, and now it looks pretty neat :D

    Also put two temperature sensors/displays in a 5.25 frame.

    And then we have this:

    [IMG]

    That's it for today :)

    === update 22-09-14 ===

    And bigger pictures :)

    Loop is going to be filled with this setup, a 250 reservoir on the second inlet of the pump.
    Between the inlet a Bitspower valve with 2x BP-TBWP-C42.
    When loop is filled, I can close the valve and easily remove the Reservoir.
    (credits to l3p for coming up with solution)

    [IMG]

    And the loop filled with Mayhems Pastel white UV coolant:

    [IMG]

    I'm using 8 Bitspower quick disconnects, this allows me to fill the loop already.
    When I have the hardware, I can just connect it to the loop without too much hassle :)
    Also when I need to replace/remove something, it's a piece of cake!

    === update 23-09-14 ===

    I didn't like the UV LEDs color in the pumptops, so I changed it to white LEDs, I think this looks a lot better!

    [IMG]

    The reservoir area was a bit too dark.
    So I placed below the RGB strip, a white ProAce LEDstrip.
    These strips really give a bright good looking light!

    [IMG]

    And with lights off, it looks like this:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    :D

    === update 04-10-14 ===

    Some more pictures :)

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    And a short clip :)

    And I got my hardware, except for the G.Skill DDR4 modules, in backorder for about 2-3 weeks :(

    [IMG]

    === update 28-10-14 ===

    An update of what is done lately :)

    I want te replace the stock grey acryl panels with red ones.
    And here they are:

    [IMG]

    I had this idea in my head, painted it with my Paint Skills:

    [IMG]

    Then l3p worked it out with his mod skills:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    It was really a troublesome job which l3p rather won't do it again :p
    The panel is 1.6mm thick, so it requires a lot of patience and strength to saw out the logo's.
    A lot of respect towards l3p for still finishing the job!!!

    I had to saw out a piece in the "backpanel", otherwise the RH logo will not glow.

    Drawed the outlines:

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    And the piece is out:

    [IMG]

    It's perfect like this:

    [IMG]

    :D

    Backpanels screwed back on:

    [IMG]

    And finished!!!

    [IMG]

    That's some nice hardware, especially the custom tops and bottoms for the reservoirs. is the pump tubing going to stay like that? it looks random and a bit messy to be honest. (with your resources you could do much better ;) )

    Yes it's going to stay like this, I think it looks cool.
    By the way, if someone is wondering why I'm using normal and rigid tubing:
    The two tubes going to the backpanel cannot be rigid acrylic, because I want it to be connected to quick disconnects (if a pump dies, I can replace it now without too much hassle).
    Then I had to play with the in-out of the pumps, did that the shortest way possible and with rigid acrylic tubes.

    I think a black with gold themed desk would look sick. Good luck!

    Dude, where did you get the "true brass" Bitspower fittings? I have only been able to find them on a US site.

    EDIT: never mind, I found the link you helpfully provided in your first post. :)

    Looks cool! I feel you need to change the pump config though as well, it really doesn't suit the class of the build, also blue leds instead of white? I don't really see blue and gold going together but the hardware is amazing!

    What are the acrylic gold fittings you are using?

    I will follow this project. I like the combination off colors a lot

    I'm using these:
    http://www.highflow.nl/aansluitinge...k-sli-cf-adapter-bp-gdwp-c47-true-golden.html

    The lights are UV actually, not blue. I'm using Mayhems UV white.
    If UV doesn't look right in the end, then I'll just change the LED's to white :)

    I screwed up the bottom plate with a wrong drill, so I replaced the pumps to cover up the damage.
    The pumps is somewhat messy like this, but IRL it is less messy as on the pictures I think.
    Now I'm used to it, I like this way even better then my first setup :)

    Inlay should be 2 layers, gold bottom layer with white (slightly smaller) top layer. Would suit the build perfectly.
