What do Bit-Techers have for breakfast? Holy Bacon or nothing at all?
I'm currently looking for a replacement for Raisin Wheats!

Various cereals or sometimes some toast with nutella. On weekends a smoked salmon or mortadella bagel is awesome. Speaking of which, I'm pretty hungry now...

    I circle between the following.

    Four Weetabix with semi milk.
Two scrambled eggs on one piece toast.
One tin mackerel on one piece toast.

And when I have fresh fruit/nuts and natural yogurt I'll add this in.

Basically chop up some fruit (whatever really, grapes, strawberries and raspberries are my fave) and natural yogurt, some crushed nut (again, whatver) and a bit of runny honey. Now that is a breakfast! Expensive though. (Not if you're a family I guess but when you're a student it's expensive to have all of those ingredients in at once given how quickly fruit spoils).

Seriously though I don't get cereal for breakfast. I mean I chuck in weetabix like I say but that's there for if I have zero time or sometimes I'll have it because for some reason I think it's good fiber or something...

    Cereal is rubbish!

Cereal fits in the time I get out of bed (7:15am) and the time I leave the house (7:35am).
I wish my mum would buy branded cereal *sigh*

Cereal is pretty poor, but it comes down to time and effort with me and I can't be bothered cooking at 5:30am. Bog standard Rice Krispies or similar for me.

When I'm off work, I do enjoy a decent bacon roll or hot croissants. I've also been perfecting my american blueberry pancakes.

The trick is to get the batter viscous enough (pretty thick) that it'll stay pretty much intact when you flip them but not as stiff as dough and cook on a low heat, so low that they're barely cooking at all. This BBC recipe if you're interested.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Earl grey, hot.

Something I got out of the habit of eating, and trying to get back into it, the main issue being time/remembering in time.
Some toast/cereal is most likely due to that, at home on a Sunday I'd had a pain au chocolat (or croissant).

Well, my ma, being the lovely lady she is, made me sausage sandwiches this morning, in preparation for my exams.

However, usually it's 2-3 weetabix or cooked porridge.

Edit: For some reason, I've grown up with a distaste for cereal. Even the super sugary stuff doesn't appeal.

2 Poached eggs and beans on 2 slices of brown toast every day with plenty of black pepper and brown sauce. I've never got tired of it for the last 5 years.

Being allergic to eggs and most nuts (I know... the ultimate homophobia combo) leads to breakfast being a COMPLETE non-event for me.

Getting up at 5:00 every morning to get a head start on work adds to this.

As a consequence, IF I do breakfast on week days (which is rare), it's cereals, maybe a quick sandwich.

On weekends, I still get up way too early (for normal people... 5:30 mostly) and either work or play games until the other half gets up (normally around 8 or 9).
Then I often have something to eat... whatever she's having, mostly. Could be an apple, cereals, nachos (this happens occasionally), leftovers from the previous day, or just a cu of coffee.
