Windows BF3 Help Please

I am really struggling on a QTE. I am playing on normal and so far I am on the QTE fight on the train platform. Im not kidding when I say I have tried nearly 40 times this afternoon to get past this. So I hit E and block the knee strike ok, then a combination of right mouse and left mouse but he always comes back with an uppercut and the rest is game over. The closest I got is him laying down and me hitting space bar but the screen goes balck and I'm informed that I failed. A quick look on you tube shows that he should be trown on the train tracks.

This game is let down by the QTE events In my opinion

 

SP is garbage.

So many things that happen that you cant avoid the first time you play it through.

Bin it and play the multi.

 

Do you not press and hold the said key until it tells you to press the next key then hold that in??

 

I recall some long presses being needed.

QTEs are a terrible game mechanic and devs who use them will be first against the wall when the revolution comes.

 

Lol. Is there a revolution coming?

Agreed, the QTEs suck in BF3.

Sounds like its either bugging or not registering your key/mouse entry's correctly, as said try longer presses mate

 

I think it is something to do with the key mapping, specifically the jump key - reset all keys to default and try again

Thanks everyone, I still have not found any motivation to try another 30 or so times I always avoid multiplayer because i seldom get more than 30 minutes peace and quiet to play a game and if memory serves you cant pause multiplayer! FML

 

I think some things need tapping. also I think it's co-op, I don't remember any trains in SP.
