    Hello all!
I'm looking to start a pc mod project (my first large scale undertaking) and want to do a lower case divider that functions as a lightbox using white acrylic. I'm wondering which lighting route to go. Either cathode or LED. What would be the best way to defuse the light evenly over the white acrylic into the case. Thanks in advance for all the help!

We have a couple of light boxes at work that are made with LED strips with a piece of frosted white acrylic. The LED strips are relatively cheap, super easy to use, and are attached to a dimmer so that we can simulate various lighting conditions when testing translucent printing materials. We've used the ones in the link above, and they are really easy to use. You can also find other brands in various sizes and price ranges.
