    Does not matter now as he order them see if it works or not

    And he got an ASUS Mobo due to the gigabyte one out if stock (bad thing is he got one with an pci-e 4x for the second 16x slot when he could of got one euthanasia an 8x second slot)

    Yes I know that, thinking of i7 as that norm go in 3 slots to make 12gb

    Still be nice to know if it will work 4x4gb or 2x4gb and 2x2gb

    All AM3 CPUs claim support up to 16GB of memory.

    claim and actually working not the same thing, why I was asking has any one tried 2x4gb or even 4x to see if the BIOS supports it

    anandtech found this out with i7 when trying 12gb did not work correctly (mite of been 6x4gb)
