Thought it might be an idea to have a thread for the Steam Sale currently underway so that games of note can be identified here, so post your best bargains or recommend games that you think people should buy if they haven't already. I just bought Doom for £13.19 (from £39.99), and I'm also tempted to buy Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
RRP £14.99 Inside is on offer for £11.24 but it is also available as a bundle with Limbo for £11.37. The best part though is if you already own Limbo (who doesn't!) and buy Inside via the bundle you get extra discount making Inside £10.23 Every penny counts
Remember to look at bundle deals on steam. As an example, I own BL 1+2 + all the dlc so Borderlands the Pre-Sequel (BLPS) is £8.99 Borderlands "Take Over Your Life Bundle" which gives me BLPS and Tales from the Borderlands is £5.72 Borderlands Triple Pack which give me BLPS is £3.15. Actually if anyone owns Borderlands Pre -Sequel but not it's season pass, could you tell me how much the BLPS + Season pass bundle is? Ta!
I know I've not been around much recently, but I'm pretty sure there's a fairly well-established thread for this sort of thing: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=179103
Yes and no. That thread is supposed to be about deals, not really about recommending games, what we're after or questions if you go by the first post. Might just be easier to leave the clutter out of the deals thread, such as me asking about the BLPS bundle cost.
Ta lancer. I caved and bought the game Will pick up the season pass when it's cheaper as it's been lower that £12 before.
Fair dos, I'm on board. So what's the bit-tech consensus on the Steam Link? I've been planning to get one the next time it goes on sale, but I keep coming across dissatisfied customers. I plan to LAN it, and don't play much online, so just regular single player or local multiplayer stuff mostly. But I don't want to be constantly having to faff with it, it's got to just work.
not game releated but still awesome https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/0/1743353164093954254/ think i shall use a pi an one of many joypads gathering dust to make a steam link pad!
Dude, a random thread from 2016 seems an odd place to put this. Probably worthy of its own new one, treat yourself - it's nearly Christmas
