I like the idea. Altough it's often hard to make a Good mod from it. Especially when you want it to look real. Making little stones and so on.

I'm curious where this one will end ;) Good luck!

. And we now go to reconstruct the roof of the towers with these magnificent model maker tiles.....

Are you sure the roof-tiles should go with the curve downwards? My common sense is screaming at me that they should have the curve facing upwards.

I believe to resolve the problem starting the tiles climbing keeping in mind of the to grow thin some surface.

    Right now with another up...........
We had remained to the construction of the towers with some cardboards, more particularly these cardboards folded up so that to form a cone to whose vertex will apply some ferrules that the auctions will entertain for the flags.

    Starting work.........

In these photos you can notice as the tiles has put in alternate way to make the tower the most realistic possible.

    .

we have ended her all... we have put there a lot of time (also because for one we have had to attend the following day in how much it missed half little envelope of tiles sigh). You appreciate the job...

    .

And now a small preview of as the towers they will come (at least dimensionally.... Memory that it misses the covering of the tower... and believe the most beautiful part of the mod it will be me I assure it to you.

    .

    .

And now a preview of that will be the covering of the case... I don't add other because an up with attached guide will be created for this last matter.

I want to make to see you the little bricks with a greater detail considering that in the preceding Up wasn't understood a lot......

And now a part of the column that I'm doing and I will position it in the two side windows of the case......

As promised I will make you a brief guide of as the little bricks of contour of the windows you/they are realized.
We depart from the naked and raw little brick in high-density polystyrene that can be found in any Bricos or Castorama.

Little by little they make now him the perfect cuts to make to fit them among them (I have sweat the seven shirts but this I don't tell you him)

We now say the most amusing part..... they do him of the small carvings and imperfections with a normal knife serrated for making that they seem some true stones....

After we begin the coloration after opportunely having numbered the little bricks to facilitate the final assemblage.
You begins with a dark color in this case I have used the Dwarf Bronze of the colors Citadel Gamesworkshop and it also stretches him in all of his parts in the deepest cracks.....

We now use a color some clearest (after the color put in precedence both well dry), I have always used the Elf Flesh of the same line of colors, and using a brushes to hard bristles the technique of the dry brush it effects that is him the color it mixes him with a drop of water and it dries the brush on paper absorbent type scottex and he quickly pass on the little brick without passing it in the hollow this effect it will be gotten.....

We will now make the same procedure clearing some the color adding of the Skull White and we will get this.....

Obviously to every passage the preceding color has to perfectly be dry.
We now mix some vinyl glue with of the water and with a brushes thin we go to scatter the glue in the points where musk can usually grow, done this it is dipped the little brick in the railway modelling musk blown above and it will remain only in the wanted parts.....

Now he doesn't you but to assemble the all with some glue Thousand Nails Pattex and then one sprinkled of fixative Purity Seal of the line Gamesworkshop and the game he is done.......

    stay tuned.......and happy new year!!!!

I have to say, I was a little wary at first. PVC = blegh, but those faux bricks really bring a lot of life to the castle. Nice job :D

Between a little brick and the other...... I have made this banner to dissuade me from her "chain of assemblage"

    small modders grow.......
The little bricks are so as that have put under also my son......

The job that takes up a great deal of his attention..........

    I am completing the panel.......

And now another sweet..... the second banner devoted to Arwen the splendid elf......

Also here as I have said for the other banners he will be retouched with acrylic colors by both the parts considering that the paper on which I have drawn is oleograph, the everything will be blackened and crumpled or frayed so that can seem a true cloth of material.
The color that will go above the sketches to black pencil will be the silver as it regards this banner.
From tomorrow we enter the Hard modding...... in fact I will begin the covering of the famous towers with curved bricks.
    Hi talk to you soon.......
