I grabbed a couple of photo's when it was snowing. I had a play in PS, but not much of a play I'll admit.

How far up north of England are you?

Shooting snow is something I've not had the opportunity to do before (Only got my 40D this June/July), wonder if we'll even get any this year.

I like the second one, but I think it needs cropping to remove the lamp at the bottom.

bah that only looks like a couple cm. Be glad your not here. :) we got 15CM last week in one storm. It's mostly gone now but it will be back. I just hope we don't get the 400+ CM we got last year.

We got about 3-4 inches mate, it wasn't just a few CM's. I took 1/2 to scrape my car off

I admit we're not Canada, but it was quite a lot for the UK in October

I think the first one would look pretty nice with some lomo effects on - vignetting and a bit of desaturation and noise. Could be wrong though.

I like the first one for the different colors (the red diffuse sky abd the blue light). Very surreal, yet obviously authentic effect.

Thanks and yeah the sky was pretty reddish that day, although mostly due to light pollution :(
