    They don't need Government to do this, In America they do these things for themselves.

    Funding things because they are good or important, not because they are profitable?

    The MPAA has massive clout in the USA. Chequebook Lobby-ism that influences government decision making.

    Maybe the BFI fancy a small UK piece of that fruit pie?
