I'm looking for some inspiration for a one bedroom flat. Some nice pictures or art to hang on my walls in the living room and bedroom.

I just want to have something more interesting than the NY buildings/bridges I'm currently exhibiting.

    What do you have?

Nada, wouldn't trust the walls to hold the weight of a framed print/poster, let alone trying to mount a TV to one... and even then, there's not a lot of wall to hang anything on... [1.5 bedroom flat]

I've got a speed camera sign, a band poster (black and white, full set of lyrics from an album), some small posters from shows and events I've run / been to and mainly - four 1920's replica posters from the White Star / Cunard days. They take up most of the space.

His OP says '1 bedroom flat', plus NY skyline/bridges suggests urban photography... or a complete lack of imagination...

I have artwork I've made for a few record labels and a bike frame. When we redecorate I'm thinking brickwall effect wallpaper and going for a kind of studio look behind my desk. Throughout the rest of the house it's just the usual mirrors and pics of the kids.

Art (lots of art), framed family photos (historic and recent), some of my work, the tv in the lounge, lots of book shelves, wallpaper on highlight walls, mirrors.

    The normal stuff.

Yeah complete lack of imagination lol. I do like bridges though. I do like books, records and film. Varied tastes.

Maybe some landscapes. Some Colin Prior stuff would be nice I guess. Really just looking for ideas.

In Russia rugs. Lots of rugs. Garish old rugs are best, not only do they keep you warm, but they disguise vodka stains as "features".

All of the TVs in our house are wall mounted, numerous big paintings in what I consider to be heavy frames.

I thought everyone hung their TVs up these days? :D

My mate has large old style movie posters.

My house would collapse due to enormous CRT strain.

That's right Bit-tech, I own three televisions - all CRT. Well they haven't broken yet...
