RAVENTON? Hello guys, i'm new here. I've been watching great modders here for a while now, and just thought i wanna share my personal modded PC too. So here we go. What Started it All I've always wanted to mod my pc. But unfortunately my first attempt was an epic fail. Due to lack of nice PC parts and modding experience it was a failure. from this: tho this: So ever since that day I wanted to try it again one more time. And there was the Lamborghini Reventon Car appeared. The first time i saw this, i was inlove and wanted to create a PC based from it's concept. But unfortunately, the right Case was not yet there. Until i saw the release of the Silverstone Raven RV01. I knew it was the "Perfect" for the Reventon style PC Case. My Initial Design So after thinking and playing through Adobe Photoshop. I finally came up with my design for the Reventon PC Case Project. front left rear top panel interior 1 interior 2 final So it Begins As much about the work logs. I wasnt able to take more photos for the work logs since i wasnt thinking of posting it anywhere that time. It was late when i realized i should have. Sorry... I started painting it using 5 cans of 1k Auto Acrylic paint with UV Protection. color- CastingIRON here im showing the front panel with the paint and added grooving here's the lower part of the front with the intake like the Reventon's front bumper. here's the top panel placing all the laser-cut acrylic to check if its good to go. and with the paint the making of the tail lights(hardest part) the finsihed work
Looking good, but I don't understand how the first mod you tried was a failure? Anyway It would be sick (or maybe a little corny I don't know) if you got some coasters and made them look like the wheels, shrouded up and all.
more updates Stickers After some Photoshop sessions, I started printing the stickers. after cutting finished souncard of the Asus Maximus Formula II memory sticks: Gskill Trident 8GB DDR2 1066 Motherboard Emblem: fans: the cover for the optical drive bays sleeving (still thinking if I should change it with silver sleeves) my 6-pin sleeving The 5870 Mod After buying and installing my new ATI Radeon 5870 i felt like it needs some modding too. So i started designing using Adobe Illustrator and this what came out after going to my friend for some acrylic laser cutting and bending. my initial assembly with the stock paint and with the paints and acrylic
it was, because I wasn't able to make it clean and neat. (not balanced side panels, scratches, dent parts, etc) ^^ it was hard to do since I didn't use fiberglass, instead I used metal sheets
The PhotoShoot TestShoot Since I'm a Freelance photographer, I had the chance to take photos some of my friends sick PC. some of them are: So I thought of taking my own PC for a trial photoshoot and see what happens^^ I used 2 external flash and natural light coming out from our window. here are the teasers!
Wow that's just beautiful. And the GPU shroud reminds me of the Asus cards of yesteryear..namely the Dual 7800GT.. Aside from awesome craftsmanship, there's the fact that the photography is pretty damn good as well! + rep for sure.
WOW WOW WOW That looks awesome mate, I especially like what you have done with the 5870, it and the rest of your mod looks amazing. Repped
thanks! i saw your reverse edition project. man you're awesome! BTW, nice sleeves! Murdermod, whoah that's expensive hehe but it's the best^^
Ah, Thanks man! You're gifted man, this looks so damn good! Looking forward to more pictures. Oh, and please reveal your photobooth setup The best there is, and I see you used it aswell =) By the way, how long did this mod take you in total?
oh yeah sure!, i'll show you that till my next photoshoot^^ me murdermod sleeves, haha i can't afford that^^. I'm from the Philippines, and usually shipping cost a lot more than the item itself. I just used the sleeves i bought from frozencpu. I was inspired by the murdermod sleeving style so I try to mimic that as much as I could^^
