Hi , this my first post here , I´m glad of be part of the comunity. :thumb:

RÛNÎK is my last work , is a thematic mod made for an ecological modding competition , so was build using only paper and cardboard
It represent an ancient object that belong to an old runic culture made of stone , but at the same time has a ultra-modern technology inside , so it is being investigated , I´m a big fan of Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones :D

In a couple of my projects , I introduce the concept of 2-steps turn-on , here you can see an effect after turn on the PSU (the cpu is still OFF) and the status change after turn on the PC.
When the CPU is ON, a "Power Circle" of runes of light is projected at the front of the PC , this is inspired in Warcraft game :naughty:

I start with a prototype just to try some designs , result:

Generally , people think that an cardboard mod must start with a box , I think different , then I decide to choose other way to use this material
I made a lot of structural square columns to build the chasis

Looks very cool. I love the projection given off!

Not entirely sure about the Blue LEDs. Bit too much of a contrast with the yellow.

Make a transparency effect ussing paper was a real challenge and a lot of work.

First , the runes was made at hand one by one in a black cardboard sheet.

A big led panel was made and put behind the runes

And a PCB for the oscillator

A dc motor and a 1w led was used in the projector

    Testing

Finally , for the CPU cooler radioactive logo , I use a strobe ring of UV leds that I develop earlier for my first mod OBSIDIANA , that I will post later.
The frequency of the oscillator is variable and that allow different visual effects
Here a video , so you can see how it works

PD: I hope not bored you with the long worklog , thanks for reading.
