    Hello everyone,

I have just received a brand new XSPC RX240 V3 Rad from Watercooling.co.uk.

Upon inspection I have noticed that where the fins join the outer radiator on one column only there are bent fins on the front and rear.

I have never purchased a brand new radiator before and all other fins seem fine. before I get onto Watercooling Uk and play hell I was wondering if...

    1. This is normal
    2. This acceptable manufacturing defect?

Probably sounds silly to you WC veterans but wanted to run it by someone before I made an idiot of myself.

Pictures attached and many thanks for your input.

    Kind regards

    Ric

Bent/damaged fins are pretty normal. Providing there's not masses of them it won't make a difference. You can use a cocktail stick to line them up better but it won't affect temps.

The important thing is to flush the rad out thoroughly before adding to the loop.

This is the only place that they are bent. All other fins are present and correct. So no RMA required? Acceptable tolerances?

Cheers for the speedy response Big Elf.. your a legend :D

No need to RMA as it's only visual and will be covered anyway.
