is there any free video editing software that will allow me to alter ( very slightly ) the speed of a video ?
there are some music videos that i have, that a friend converted to HD, but when i got them back, they have slowed down ( slightly but noticeably ) so they dont sound quite right anymore

    any ideas ?

yeah my pc can run 1080p but somehow the song got slowed down alittle
    well ive tried both
    vitualdub cant open mp4s...
and videomach stops responding half the time
and despite my attempts to speed up the video slightly the output video is exactly the same speed ( even speeding it up silly ammounts, the video remains the same speed )

you can open mp4 in vdub but it's plugins and no audio support as far as I know..

it might be better to just convert the mp4 to an uncompressed avi- then you can do it all in vdub.. re-compress it
