    In what sense?

I mean, my phone runs - in the very strictest sense - linux, on an ARM processor, and I wouldn't exactly call it "open for tinkering".

A plastic toy dog, a jigsaw, a toy horse, a tutu and some lego?

I thought Bit-tech had a majority demographic of early to mid 20's single males with no children. Lego might pass but I think someone needs to sort their company out. As an article, it's awful. As an advert, which is what it is, it's poorly targeted. Please stop this, right now!

I'm not quite sure why this is in the news section of Bit-Tech.

The guys over at XDA Developers would disagree :p

Providing they offer the interface to gain some sort of command line access or the ability to load different versions of the OS I can see the only limitations being what the hardware is capable of achieving.

" However, taking the crown is the Luvley Limited Editon Tutu. This handmade child's tutu is fashioned from silk lace and satin, and is encrusted with Swarovski crystals! Not bad for £250. "

    Is this why?

I remember seeing a huge pound of the Sony dogs in Sony Towers in Ginza, Tokyo about 10 years ago. Are they still going strong those things?

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the heads up. Having kids would change the perception of this article as you always need to be ahead of the game when it comes to preparing for that Christmas morning and that one special present sent from Father Christmas made by his elves.

I hope there is a VERY large breasted Female involved here, one on high street that convinced one of these guys to run this.

    Otherwise, fail.

As someone that has 2 kids I still find the article totally pointless! in fact I don't know a single person that A. wants to hear about Christmas now and B. Gives a **** about what Hamleys think will be the best selling Christmas toys!
